What is It?

​Mosaic Room is a colorful, all-ages space for creativity, curiosity, and connection. Whether you're here to learn something new, express yourself, or just have fun, there's a place for you at Mosaic Room. We host a mix of enrichment classes, hands-on workshops, and playful group activities — from painting and juggling to trivia nights and food fights. Every event is designed to bring people together through joyful, shared experiences.

Why We Started

​Two years ago, I went to a paint and sip event with a friend, and I thought to myself "my daughter would love this". I went home and searched the area for an event like that one that I could go to with her, but I couldn't find anything at all. There were classes for adults, and there were classes for kids. I couldn't find a single event I could go to with my 13 year old daughter. I looked at other types of classes too - ceramics, crafts, etc.. it was all the same situation. There was absolutely nothing for adults and kids to do together. That is what sparked the idea for Mosaic Room.
 
​The idea of having multiple classes and activities came from trying to find things to do with my own kids. With as many cold rainy days as we have in Seattle, we need more options for family activities. I kept getting ideas for classes and activities and there are 75+ items on the list! There will always be something fun to do at Mosaic Room.

What Makes Us Different

​

At Mosaic Room, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Our events range from low-key crafting and beginner dance classes to full-blown interactive competitions and themed nights. Every offering is created with care, led by passionate local instructors and performers, and open to all skill levels. Everything about us makes us different. Where else can you take a yo-yo class AND learn henna design? Where else can you do these activities with your spouse OR your kids? The fact that we are open to all ages is a big part of the magic here.

Think of us as your neighborhood’s creative playground — a place where grown-ups and kids alike can explore, connect, and most importantly, have fun.
